Includes trails on the flat lands of Saskatoon, a boardwalk, and trails reaching down to the Saskatchewan River. Has an amazing view over looking the river.

Cranberry Flats Conservation Area

This area is located just outside of the city. There is so much scenery over looking the Saskatchewan River. In the fall is when I like to go because the leaves give this view a colorful look. You are allowed to bring your dog as long as it is on a leash. They do have public washrooms and a beautiful boardwalk. Some people like to bring their bikes as there are trails going in every direction. I have gone here in the summer too and walked in the water. There are a lot of sand bars if you travel across the river to the other side. Depending on the weather bring bug spray or sun screen or a scarf to save your face from the wind.

Thanks for taking a look at my site! My best friend Tia gave me the idea to start a blog. Please take a look at her page for all her fun travels on the trail. She does a lot more backpacking than I do.
